My nephew suggested another means of communicating with young people;  very funny, with a powerful element of truth.  Do we speak their language or do we speak some foreign language they do not understand?  Here is what he said.

“Hey Jim, Deep down you are an energy conservation activist. So that basically means you can call yourself, a Power Ranger. And I think a lot more people would join the cause under that name alone. For example, Hey, would you like to be an energy conservation activist with me. I would reply with, no clue what you just said, I am going to have to pass. OR, Hey, want to be a Power Ranger with me? And as you go on to explain what it is that really means, I will tell you, holy crap I'm in. You had me at Power Ranger........   Just a suggestion I thought i'd throw your way!!”
