Please fill out the AGU survey on position statements if you have not already done so. Today is the last day.

I asked AGU to adopt a position statement on actively opposing science and evidence denial and disruption by government, corporations, think tanks, NGOs.

Thanks for filling out the survey.

Last Chance: Request on Behalf of the AGU Position Statement Task Force
Thank you to those of you who have filled out the survey. Your responses are extremely useful. If you have not yet filled out the survey, today is your last chance -- please share your thoughts

The AGU Position Statement Task Force is reviewing AGU's current position statements to determine if subject matter gaps exist that would necessitate any new statements. It is important for us to hear from members like you who are versed in both science and policy. Please help AGU by taking a short survey. The survey closes on 8 July. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Background:

AGU shares a collateral sense of responsibility to assure that the results of geophysical research are made available to benefit all mankind. AGU adopts position statements that relate the understanding and application of the geophysical sciences to relevant public policy.

Each statement is reassessed every four years to ensure that statements remain timely, relevant, and scientifically accurate. In addition to reviewing current statements, AGU accepts recommendations from its membership for new statements at any time.

Please help ensure the quality of AGU Position Statements by taking our short survey today.

AGU galvanizes a community of Earth and space scientists that collaboratively advances and communicates science and its power to ensure a sustainable future.
