Dear friends,

On behalf of the Executive Board of Digital Medievalist, I write to share the news that DM’s Postgraduate Committee members Aylin Malcom, Tessa Gengnagel, and Caitlin Postal are together one of this year’s recipients of the Medieval Academy of America’s Graduate Student Committee Community Building Awards for their podcast Coding Codices.  Coding Codices explores the intersections between medieval studies and the digital world. Each episode features a conversation with one or more expert(s)—including archivists, librarians, professors, and other postgraduates—about their recent projects. The latest episode, posted 4 February, features Caitlin Postal talking with Bridget Whearty about labor ethics in digital medieval studies and digitization.

Congratulations, Aylin, Tessa, and Caitlin on your good work!

Best,

Lynn
