To mark its 10th anniversary, the Castle Studies Trust is holding a conference, '
Castle Studies: Present and Future', on Saturday 10 June at the University of Winchester.
As well as papers discussing some of the latest and innovative areas of research in castle studies, the programme will include a keynote speech from Dr. Karen Dempsey (Cardiff University) to start the day on the conference theme. It will end with a discussion
chaired by Dr. John Goodall which will discuss the future of castle studies with a panel from a wide range of professional backgrounds including academia, heritage organisations, and local government archaeology.
Tickets are £75 per person, which includes lunch refreshments, and a post-conference drinks reception. Student tickets are £55.
