Attention all SDBM users and user wannabes!
Are you looking to add some virtual camaraderie to your Mondays?
The Schoenberg Database of Manuscripts (SDBM) is
offering a weekly office hour every Monday at 1pm ET, starting July 6th. SDBM staff will be online to answer questions, demonstrate database tasks, and share insider tips and tricks. Users at any level are
welcome, and new users are especially encouraged to attend. If you missed one of our introductory webinars, the office hours are a great
opportunity to get acquainted with the basics of the database. Come prepared with questions or comments, or use the time to work on a data entry or clean-up task with fellow SDBM users. If you do not have a data entry or clean-up task, we have plenty of ideas
to share with you!

The Schoenberg Database of Manuscripts aggregates observations of pre-modern manuscripts from historical and contemporary sources that document the sales and locations of these books from
around the world. Entries in the SDBM assist researchers in locating and identifying particular manuscripts, establishing provenance, and collecting descriptive information about specific classes or types of manuscripts. SDBM user accounts are free and open
to all, allowing users to contribute to the database’s development by adding and linking entries, creating name and place authority files, and collaborating with other users on shared research interests. Our user community includes scholars, librarians, booksellers,
students, collectors, and others who care about manuscripts and want to contribute to our shared knowledge of their histories.
