Dear all,
The recent conversations in another thread on this list regarding the future of GO::DH reminded me of this 2012 site and poster I made for the Primer Encuentro de Humanistas Digitales en la Biblioteca Vasconcelos, Ciudad de México (17 y 18 de mayo de 2012).
Five years have passed... five summers with the length of etc.
The poster itself has had a few views and downloads since I deposited it on figshare in 2013 but sadly it has not had any citations so far that I know of. The site has received no visits at all for four years now. I think some of the points made on the poster and the site echo some of the ideas being discussed about this group.
This is not the first time I abuse my membership by sharing examples of my work here with other members of this list. I hope you don't mind. This is not really about self-promotion, but about trying to re-engage with the work and the topics that, if produced and disseminated outside the traditional channels, seemed destined to quick burials. Or perhaps there is nothing interesting there-- that's also possible...
