The ballot for the first GO::DH elections is still open. This will be for the first elected executive and the beginning of GO::DH as a true representative community.

For this first election, all eight positions on the executive are open. In future years half will come up for election each year. There are 16 candidates. 

The ballot can be found at the following URL: http://bit.ly/MsaTaX (the link will take you to a Google Doc). Everybody subscribed to the globaloutlookdh-l@uleth.ca mailing list is eligible to vote. 

The ballot contains biographies of all candidates who provided them and a form for selecting up to 8 choices. The form also asks for your email address. This is used only to ensure eligibility and avoid inadvertent multiple votes. Your ballot is secret--only the aggregate results will be shared. 

The ballot will remain open for one week, until the end of Monday 3 Mar 2014 at the International dateline (i.e. Noon UTC Tuesday March 4).
