FYI: CIFAR is a strange quasi governmental funder that operates a bit like a private one. Worth looking at as it works more internationally than many national funders.

While most of this is probably not too relevant, I see one at least that might work for somebody doing Geographic work.

Ces derniers mois, le Boursier du CIFAR Eran Elinav (Institut Weizmann des sciences) et la Chercheuse mondiale CIFAR-Azrieli Naama Geva-Zatorsky (Technion), tous deux membres du programme Microbiome humain du CIFAR, ont rapidement réorienté leurs recherches vers le développement de deux tests diagnostiques pour la COVID-19.
