Hello and sorry for crosspost
With this letter I ask for your help. This year I
make a team with a few friends to raise the resources we need to present our
works at the LASA (Latin American Studies Association) Congress (San Juan, May
27 to 30, http://lasa.international.pitt.edu/).
Eventually, we decided go for a Crowdfunding and name the project “Cuban
Minority Voices to Borinquen”.
The list of our presentations at LASA 2015:

Estraven III: Homophobia, Feminism & (Homo)Sexualities in 21st Century Cuban
Science Fiction”
The money is for paying the visas, transportation,
meals and accommodation related to LASA 2015. Our budget is about $1000 per
capita. Visa=$160, plane tickets=$697, meals=$120, housing=$75.
I´m not asking a big donation from you, this is
precisely the opposite: We ask a small amount each time to as many people as
possible. 10 U$D will be great, 25 U$D? Amazing!
Oh! No matter what you can give –or not-, please
remember to share this link with colleagues you think may be interested in the
researches we will develop with the LASA´s debates, or simply to other people
with a preference for marginal voices.
