As many in the Global DH community know, there was a mass shooting on Michigan State University’s campus last night. The Global DH Symposium is based out of MSU and the planning team includes many members who are MSU students and staff. We have also been looking forward to holding an in person event at the MSU Libraries on March 17 for the first time since 2019.

As we grieve with our MSU community, we are looking ahead to the Symposium next month, especially to the in-person event at the MSU Libraries on March 17. We feel it is more important than ever to bring this community together. In the coming weeks, the planning committee will work towards creating as safe, healing, and supportive event as possible.
