"Digital Humanities / Humanidades Digitales / Informatica Umanistica. Un dialogo interculturale."

The so-called "digital humanities" are taking root at international and  institutional levels. Through the creation of new centers and new organizations it is possible to attract both resourses and funding, since a “digital” component is looked upon favorably by funding bodies. But while the digital humanities can be a powerful tool for innovation, one must not forget that no technology is culturally neutral. This round table aims to reflect on the phenomenon of DH from the point of view of society and the culture of the "South," questioning the uncritical adoption of epistemological and cultural patterns arising from the Global North and offering an alternative vision of the relationship between knowledge, territories, and digital technologies.

Estupendo Barbara :-)

Domenico
