Dear all,
The Institute for Documentology and Scholarly Editing (IDE) organised a workshop at the conference of the German-speaking DH community in March, where a manifesto for digital scholarly editions was developed with about 60 participants.
The German version has been published at https://dhd-blog.org/?p=17563 and can be signed by leaving a comment.
We think it is important to translate the manifesto into many languages to take into account the multilingualism, polyphony and diversity of the global DH community.
Therefore we are looking for people who want to take over the moderation for a translation into other languages. The Italian Version has been done already and is on the way to its publication.
Are you interested in moderating the translation process of one language (except Italian and German)?
For the following languages we prepared a GoogleDoc based on the translation by the tool DeepL.
Feel free to start a translation process of your language. Please let us know via twitter to @ideinfo or email to info@i-d-e.de so that we can support you and keep the language versions and further developments on this topic together.
All language drafts so far are listed under https://www.i-d-e.de/publikationen/weitereschriften/
Many thank and best wishes,
Christiane
