Dear GO::DH members,

The run-off election period ended last night. With such a great slate of candidates, the election results were again very close, but we are now pleased to announce the four elected candidates for the 2015-2017 term.
In alphabetical order:

Gimena del Rio
Alex Gil
Dan O'Donnell
Padmini Ray Murray

The new executive will take office in the next few days, appoint a chair, vice-chairs and officers and will make the news available to the group.

We would like to thank all of the candidates for their enthusiasm and willingness to serve as part of GO::DH!

We also thank everyone who voted at these elections and especially the outgoing GO::DH executive committee members who have worked tirelessly and made a great impact in the group.

Our voter turnout was a bit lower than we had expected, and we would like to encourage everyone on the list to get involved in any way you may wish. Our collective participation is crucial to make our initiatives as far reaching and relevant as possible.
