I know that some institutions like faculty to have certificates of
participation for their annual performance reviews. If you've done
something at GO::DH and would like a certificate, please let me know
and I can give you one. I'm attaching a model that I used for
somebody on the outgoing executive.
If you would like a certificate, please email me with the following
information:
- Your name and institution, the way you'd like it to appear on
the certificate
- What it is you would like me to certify (e.g. "was a member of
the founding executive," "chaired the minimal computing working
group" etc. Please keep it short, as it has to fit on the
certificate).
I'll run them off as a mail merge sometime next week.
If for some reason you need a letter, please let me know. They are a
bit harder to set up, but I can do that too. In that case I need the
same as above plus the name and address and preferred salutation of
the addressee, e.g.
Professor Craig Cooper,
Dean,
Faculty of Arts and Science,
University of Lethbridge
Lethbridge AB T1K 3M4

Dear Dean Cooper,
(Please write the address as if I were mailing it from
Canada--though I'll send you a PDF unless you need a hardcopy).
The letter will be on U of Lethbridge letterhead.
