Le DH 2016 connaît une nouvelle forme de soumission cette année, avec une deadline spécifique: les propositions de workshop officiellement soutenus par un SIG (Groupe d'intérêt particulier) d'ADHO peuvent être soumis jusqu'au 15 janvier:
« Pour DH2016, des ateliers soutenus par un groupe d’intérêt spécial (SIG) peuvent être proposés jusqu’au 15 janvier 2016, à minuit GMT ; leur sélection sera annoncée au plus tard le 30 janvier 2016».
