Join Zoom Meeting
Meeting ID: 996 4897 2911
This 1.5-hour virtual workshop will be very
interactive, and participants will learn more about:
The deadline to
register a CIHR project grant is Wednesday, August 13, 6pm MST. Registration requires a short summary of the project, a total budget number, and key terms and identifying the institute and the committee you are applying to. Information
about registration is found here:
https://www.cihr-irsc.gc.ca/e/49503.html
For the registration, you do not need to work with ORIS or obtain institutional approval. The registration allows CIHR to prepare review committees to fit the application demand, so the summary and key terms you select will determine the background and expertise
of the researchers who will review your application. Most of the information can be updated or changed between the registration and application stage (such as the other collaborators or co-applicants for the project).
The internal deadline for the full proposal is Wednesday, August 27. The external CIHR deadline is September 10, 6pm MST. I would be happy to work with you and provide feedback and information about the application.
If you have any questions, please let me know!
Cheers,
Nicole van Rootselaar, PhD
