Greetings,
On November 19 at 1:00 pm, ORIS will host a workshop on the Mitacs Globalink Research Award (GRA) program. The GRA program supports research collaborations between Canada and eligible countries and regions through intern(s) international mobility. Under the joint supervision of a home and host professor, successful senior undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows can do one or two 12-24 weeks internship(s).
In this workshop, Alex Engel, Mitacs Business Development Advisor at the University of Lethbridge, will introduce the Globalink Research Award program. Alex will provide an overview of the program’s purpose and benefits, explain who is eligible to apply, and walk attendees through the application process. This is a great opportunity for faculty members and students to learn how the GRA program can support collaborative research initiatives and access funding through Mitacs. Please feel free to invite any senior undergraduate, graduate, or postdoctoral students who may be interested.
Date: November 19, 2025
Time: 1:00-2:00 pm
Location: Virtual (Zoom link)
Regards,
Campbell
