In the US and Europe is claiming copyright in manuscript reproductions Copyfraud. These image are in the Public Domain. There is no valid contract between the user and the BAV restricting its ability to do with them what he wants. Please note that these reproductions are made by the University Library Heidelberg and you can use them there:
