Oki, Ă‚ba wathtech, Dadanast’ada, TĂ¢n'si, Tanisi, Hello, This is a friendly reminder that there is one week remaining to apply for the 2nd round of the One Child Every Child (OCEC) Indigenous Research Project Seed Funding Awards.
These awards are for Indigenous scholars who are exploring new maternal and child health and wellness research with a focus on Indigenous peoples, organizations, and/or communities.
Overview
* Applicants must hold a primary appointment at Athabasca University, the University of Alberta, the University of Calgary, or the University of Lethbridge. * Applicants may be independent researchers, postdoctoral scholars, or doctoral students/candidates. * Postdoctoral scholars and doctoral students/candidates may apply with their supervisor as a project member to administer the funds on their behalf. * Primary applicants must be Indigenous. Supervisors holding funds for doctoral or graduate scholar applicants do not have to be Indigenous. * Early Career Researchers (ECRs) will be given preference. * Five awards of up to $10,000 available.
