Dear colleagues,
We are setting up a ride sharing program that will be posted to this email list next week. Please stay tuned and we will try and help with carpools to/from Denver airport to the venue.
Best,
Jim Byrne
Dear Chapman Climate Colleagues:
We are all aware our atmosphere has reached 400 PPM CO2. We are well on the way towards possible catastrophic climate change. We need multiple actions on many fronts. The Chapman Meeting can orchestrate some very important steps – please come and contribute. Forgive the repetition – WE WE WE! But this has to be a community action. WE have to act now!
We are organizing a conference writing team to develop a consensus report including a series of resolutions that address the ways forward on climate change communication. We are looking forward to your active participation in the discussions. The program has many oral and poster presentations AND we have created a series of formal and informal discussion periods that will allow all delegates to (i) participate in the discussions and (ii) contribute to the consensus report on ways and means to move forward on climate change actions.
Registration for the Chapman Climate Communication Meeting is online. Please register ASAP! We invite your participation in the meeting whether you have submitted an abstract or not. May 24th is the registration deadline on the webpage. Here is the link:

The meeting has over 100 presentations and a series of interactive workshops. You may review the program online and begin to plan your input. Go to
http://chapman.agu.org/climatescience/schedule/
and chose either the “Meeting at a Glance” or “Create your own Itinerary” links.
There will be more information in the next few weeks from AGU on conference administration. Housing nearest the conference site is limited so please make your housing reservation and register ASAP.
Looking forward to seeing you in Colorado. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any comments.
Best,
Jim Byrne, Phil Rasch, Natasha Andronova
Co-Conveners
Good luck with your conference. I am sorry I cannot attend.
Cheers,
John
