Hello everyone,
We are excited to share the new opportunity to apply for the Canada Impact+ Research Training Awards (CIRTA).
Please note the following opportunity is only open to faculty who hold active Tri-Agency grants (as required from the Tri-Agencies).
The awards are a targeted, one-time initiative designed to recruit international or returning Canadian doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers to Canada. The University of Lethbridge has a quota of 2 doctoral and 2 postdoctoral positions. You are receiving this email because you may currently hold a Tri-agency grant, which is one of the award criteria. You can review if your tri-agency grant is eligible under item 17 herehttps://nserc-crsng.canada.ca/en/canada-impact-research-training-awards-qa. All disciplines are encouraged to apply (SSHRC, NSERC, CIHR).
You can submit an expression of interest by January 20th, 8:30 AM through the form: Expression of Interest Formhttps://forms.office.com/pages/responsepage.aspx?id=wmDTjIsGNk6NtSezV5L1PyiHa4ArvSZCm-KcIoQboaFUNU82TVNZODBENllONU43S0NNR1JYVURRQi4u&route=shorturl. Graduate students must apply to the doctoral program by January 15th to be considered for the award.
Deadline for the full application is February 13th, 3:00 PM. We are still waiting for more details from the Tri-Agencies about the application requirements and adjudication criteria.
