A quick reminder: as a new ADHO SIG, GO::DH has some administrative requirements, including the formation of an executive and election of a chair. We are currently have a call out for volunteers and nominations for each.
There is no set limit at this moment on the number of positions on the executive: part of the task of this year's executive will be to draft formal by-laws to set numbers, term lengths, and perhaps constituency requirements.
We'd originally indicated that we were hoping for an executive of 6-10 members; we are already past that, but, as always, would rather engage than turn away enthusiastic members or risk reducing diversity of opinion or experience. Given the numbers of volunteers, once the membership of executive is established, one of its first tasks will be to decide the most efficient way of working this coming year.
