For those interested in Maori language revival, currently we're in "Maori language week" It's probably the highest profile and most widespread of all the initiatives in the field.

I think there's a difference between working with endangered languages as a set of languages (which is perhaps what Domenico and Alex are referring to) and engaging with a specific language community working to revive their language (which is what I am referring to). I think different sets of approaches (both theoretical and practical) are appropriate in the different places.
