this is rich, really. but my experiences is completly different: I´m Cuban. Since 1959 Cubans are a "Political Diaspora", no mater the real motivation for leaving the country. Of course, white cubans were received better than black cubans in many places, but they were all "runnig away from Castro dictatorship" and bla bla bla.

I wonder if someone in the list thinks that there is any merit to this. Ho do you, those of you living or having lived outside your countries of origin, feel you are/ were perceived?
