You are on this list because you expressed an interest in the project (in most cases at the DH 2012 meeting in Hamburg). GO-DH is being chaired at the moment by Daniel Paul O'Donnell (University of Lethbridge) and Marcus Bingenheimer (Temple University).
As we get established we can institute proper, group determined management.
We are also working very closely with ADHO, through the Neil Fraistat, Harold Short, and Ray Siemens, all of whom are on this list as well. An early goal is present a proposal for our work to the ADHO steering committee. A number of the Constituent Organisations have already expressed an interest in an initiative like this; we'd like to propose GO-DH to ADHO as a way of acting on that initiative.
This is a very busy time of year for many of us, so there should not be very much traffic at the beginning of this list's life. And since we are also busy people the rest of the year as well, we will try to keep the administrative footprint of this initiative as light as possible even once we get going.
