Hi all, finally went through the first several pages of the DARIAH list, parsing what I could. Learned that there is conflation between "course" and "program" in some universities in Europe. Still not 100% clear how it works. Thanks to Corina's list, I was able to add several Italian and Spanish programs. Nothing from Portugal yet. I do encourage people on the list to help with the list. It is already the largest such list of programs around the world. Eventually the list will handed over to ACH for maintenance. If you believe this can be a valuable resource, please contribute. I have to move on to other things, but did some good heavy lifting on it to get us here.

Dear all,
I started compiling a list of programs offering degrees in digital humanities around the world. We have almost every continent represented, but I'm sure we can add more from Africa, Australasia, South America and Asia.
Tunde, what's happening in Nigeria? Are you offering a degree? Miguel, Singapore, any degree yet? Justus, South Africa? Gimena, Argentina?
Please take a look at the list and see if you don't see a program you know about or run. You can let me know here, or edit directly on Github. The document is written in markdown.

Dear Alex,
Thank you so much!
The main tool in DARIAH for the courses is, as far as I know, the DH registry, under the lead of Tanja Wissik and Hendrik Schmeer:
https://registries.clarin-dariah.eu/courses/
It is co-lead with CLARIN.
It is based on a double system: bottom-up, you open an account to put your course; and your National Moderator validates the opening of your account (top down).
It would be nice to open it to non European countries as well! Humanistica was supposed to open a French-speaking part, but the project is not hold right now, as far as I know.
At the DARIAH meeting in Paris, the WG Course registry will have its meeting: I can transmit remarks/questions if you want (on Wednesday 23).
Kind greetings
Claire

Learned that there is conflation between "course" and "program" in some universities in Europe. Still not 100% clear how it works. Thanks to Corina's list, I was able to add several Italian and Spanish programs. Nothing from Portugal yet. I do encourage people on the list to help with the list. It is already the largest such list of programs around the world. Eventually the list will handed over to ACH for maintenance. If you believe this can be a valuable resource, please contribute. I have to move on to other things, but did some good heavy lifting on it to get us here.

Hi! We don't have any certificates (YET) in Argentina. But we are on our way. We have contributing all these years with certificates at LINHD UNED. Most of the DH training is done through AAHD, http://aahd.net.ar/, and Laboratorio de Humanidades Digitales CAICYT, http://www.caicyt-conicet.gov.ar/sitio/investigacion/hd-caicyt-lab/%E2%80%8B

Inclusion criteria is degrees or certificates awarded by a program, department or any official institution that is authorized to hand out accreditation. This list is focused on that, as opposed to the way most or many of us actually train in DH, that is, outside the curriculum.

This list started yesterday, and I've been adding slowly as time and regular work duties allows. I'm 2 pages down in the DARIAH list. Started with that list last night. Some really cool people have been helping by sending in pull requests. As all efforts of this sort, it helps when everyone chips in directly. If you see anything under-represented, add it if you know how to use GitHub. If not, I'll add it later. Thanks for the corrections and suggestions!
Thanks, Corina for this spreadsheet! Very useful complement to the DARIAH list!

2018-05-16 17:30 GMT+03:00 Alex Gil <colibri.alex@gmail.commailto:colibri.alex@gmail.com>: Dear all,
I started compiling a list of programs offering degrees in digital humanities around the world.
