Hello people! i have great news. a few days ago i was granted the Canadian Visa for one Year (Visitor Business Visa) multiple entrances. here is the thing, i have been working in the digital library webpage using omeka as the main plataform, the main goal is get all the literature from the last 50 years in to this plataform and make it visible for the next generations and also tribute to the rescue of the history of the creative literature from womens in cuban history.
saying this im looking for support in Canada DH community in order to keep this project alive: i need a place to host the database website and upload all the digital books, images, notes about females writers.

That is good news.

Congratulations! I know many of us have had good success with Reclaim Hosting. It is well supported and, as these things go, fairly inexpensive. Anyone else have thoughts?

I have had the absolutely best experience with Reclaim. I was introduced to them at HILT in 2015, their response time for questions and support is very fast and I upgraded my account. All seamless, they support multiple content management systems.

Just want to throw in one more recommendation for Reclaim. I’ve hosted several projects for classes and research there over the past few years, and Tim and Jim have always been extremely helpful. If you’re looking for basic shared hosting on the cheap (perfect for most Omeka / WP / Drupal / LAMP CMS setups), they’re the way to go!

well sadly i spend one month in canada and i did not get contact to call to arrange a way to get the project on road. however i will come back soon to Montreal …
