The administrative side of the mailing list seems to have been having trouble the last little while. I just had a "probe" message from them because email subscription requests have been bouncing from me. When I clicked on to the management page, I saw to my horror that there were 9 people waiting to be subscribed (we are up to 215 members)

I apologise! We have several people who monitor subscription requests and we all seem to have missed it, so the problem is deeper than just one person. I've cc'd our tech people here to see about getting to the root of the problem.
