The election has now closed. The members voted for The Baby and the Bathwater Option. However, we only had 11% participation. I believe that the by-laws now triggers a return to the executive committee:
Quorum for approval by the membership shall be 25% of the total membership. In the event quorum is not reached, the Executive may approve amendments to the Bylaws by a supermajority. In such a case, the Executive should consider carefully the results of the membership election, though it is not bound by it.

I will begin the proceedings in the executive. I am confident they will simply ratify the results of the general plebiscite.
I will return here with results here from the executive shortly. I'm thinking a week to give people time to cast their votes should be fine. Thank you all for your patience.

Thank you Amy for the results and the hard work you put into this. Is it possible to know the breakdown of the votes? I imagine not 100% of all votes went for The Baby and the Bathwater Option, did they?
It would be interesting, and good practice, to be informed of the votes breakdown, even if only 11% of the total membership voted.
